James (Jim) Johnson, President and CEO James (Jim) Johnson, President and CEO
Mr. Johnson co-founded uControl in 2005 and serves as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board. Most recently, he was the Vice President and General Manager of the Service Provider Business Unit of TippingPoint, which was acquired by 3Com in February 2005. Prior to TippingPoint, Mr. Johnson was Vice President of Sales at BroadJump, which was acquired by Motive Communications in February 2003. Prior to BroadJump, he served as National Sales Manager for Cisco Systems ADSL Portfolio. Before Cisco's acquisition of NetSpeed, he served as the Director of North American Telco Sales for NetSpeed. Prior to NetSpeed, Mr. Johnson held both domestic and international assignments with Alcatel Telecom in sales, product planning, product management and research and development. Mr. Johnson also serves on the Board of Directors for Boundless Network and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University.
   
Jim Kitchen, Vice President of Product Strategy Jim Kitchen, Vice President, Product Strategy
Mr. Kitchen co-founded uControl and is responsible for product strategy. Most recently, he was at Motive and served in several capacities; Director of Product Marketing and Product Management responsible for Motive's premier next-generation products in IPTV and VoIP, and prior to that as Senior Director of Motive's Consulting Services Communications Practice running a team of about 60 consultants and supporting personnel. He was responsible for 200+ deployments to the largest service providers in the world. Prior to Motive, Mr. Kitchen was the President of a successful entertainment and marketing software consulting company in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Kitchen began his career by launching one of the first web-based services to offer real-time financial and news information where he served as Vice President of Software Development, Mr. Kitchen attended the University of Texas.
   
Jason Domangue, Vice President of Marketing Jason Domangue, Vice President, Marketing
Mr. Domangue brings over fifteen years of sales and marketing experience from the telecommunications industry to uControl. Most recently, Mr. Domangue served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for EATEL, a 70-year-old telecommunications company that provides voice, data and video services over a Fiber-To-The-Home network to both residential and business customers. Prior to his work at EATEL, Mr. Domangue founded EATELWEB, an interactive marketing firm that was one of the first in the country to offer a paid subscription streaming video service through a college athletic department's website - LSUsports.net. Mr. Domangue holds a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Louisiana State University.
   
Wade Cohn, Vice President of Engineering Wade Cohn, Vice President, Engineering
Mr. Cohn co-founded uControl and is responsible for engineering. Prior to uControl, he was at Motive and served in several capacities; Director of Technology and Lead Architect for Motive's Consumer line of products and Senior Developer after originally joining Motive as the seventh employee. At Motive, Mr. Cohn was responsible for engineering highly scalable enterprise class server platfroms that supported up to 18 million end users in a single deployment. Prior to joining Motive, he was with Tivoli Systems as a lead developer for various components of the Tivoli product line. Before this tenure at Tivoli, Mr. Cohn was a software developer at Arrowsmith Technologies and IBM. Mr. Cohn has more that 18 years of experience in designing and developing highly scalable, distributed software systems. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
   
David Costilow, Vice President, Customer Services
With nearly 20 years of technology and services experience Mr. Costilow has an established track record of developing, delivering, and supporting solutions that create measurable business value for his customers. Prior to joining uControl, Mr. Costilow held various other executive and management roles at leading technology companies including Motive, AlterPoint, Oracle, Coopers & Lybrand, and most recently 2Wire where he managed the Solution Services team. Mr. Costilow holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma.
   
Tom Chmielewsji, Vice President, Sales
Mr. Chmielewski brings to uControl several years of experience helping high growth companies expand their businesses with broadband service providers. At Radialpoint, Tom served as VP of Worldwide Sales and Services tripling their customer base in the US and Europe while significantly growing their recurring revenue. For over a decade Tom has sold new products and services to product development executives at cable and telecommunications providers, from broadband activation, to self-care tools, internet value added services like internet security, and sponsored three screen content. As BroadJump's head of international sales, Tom expanded the sales team and customers in Europe, Latin America and the Asia Pacific. After Motive's acquisition of BroadJump, Tom served as Director of Strategic Sales in London. There he was a founding member of CTAM's Europe chapter which organizes the highly successful annual CTAM EuroSummit for cable marketers. Through his multi-year CTAM Europe board participation, Tom has had extensive contact with the CTAM chapter leadership and cable executives throughout North America.
