Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Firmware Developer to join our growing software engineering team. As a Senior Firmware Developer at uControl, you will be responsible for development and delivery of software modules in a real-time embedded QNX environment. Your ability to comprehend product requirements and ramp up to be part of a highly-energized development team will be utilized.

Responsibilities

• Development and delivery of software modules in a QNX environment
• Communicate development progress and enhancements across the organization
• Hardware troubleshooting
• Remote debugging

Required Skills

• 7 or more years of C/C++ programming experience in a Linux/QNX environment.
• Strong understanding of embedded development issues including cross-compilation, remote debugging, real-time requirements, and hardware troubleshooting. Solid understanding of GNU development tools.
• Exceptional productivity and versatility.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience required.

Desired Skills

• QNX Neutrino based development experience.
• Agile Development Process experience.
• Kernel and/or QNX driver experience.
• Embedded C++ Development Experience.
